David Lansner is a partner in the New York law firm of Lansner & Kubitschek. He has been representing parents and children in child welfare cases
for 35 years. He defends parents accused of child abuse and neglect
and has an active domestic relations practice.
With his law partner,
Carolyn Kubitschek, Mr. Lansner has brought numerous successful civil
rights actions on behalf of families where children have been illegally
removed or detained by child protective services or have been abused in
foster care. He served as Counsel to the New York State Assembly
Committee on Children and Families for 12 years and is currently the
Co-Chair of the New York State Citizen Review Panel for Child
Protection in New York.
