Family Defense

Laverne F. Hill is an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in the Corporate Restructuring group.  

While working at Skadden, Ms. Hill also represents children pro bono as a Guardian ad Litem in the Circuit Court of Cook County.  Ms. Hill authored a publication in the June 2005 issue of the Alaska Law Review titled Family Group Conferencing: An Alternative Approach to the Placement of Alaska Native Children under the Indian Child Welfare Act.   She is a 2005 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and a 2001 graduate of Smith College.
