Mary Broderick is the past President of the Board and the parent member representative on the Board of Directors. Ms. Broderick has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Illinois Chicago. Ms. Broderick is the mother of three children and is the Owner/CEO of a market research company.

Ms. Broderick and her husband were falsely accused of "shaken baby syndrome" of their son when he was four months old. After a two month investigation by DCFS and MPEEC, the "child abuse expert" decided the subdural hematoma that caused the allegation did not exist. Due to that experience, Ms. Broderick has become vigilant advocate for the rights of families in the child protection system.
