The following is an excerpt from a story by Kevin Cole at the Omaha World-Herald published on Monday, February 28th.
Two Nebraska groups have signed on to a lawsuit before the U.S. Supreme Court that alleges that the rights of an Oregon girl were violated when she was removed from a classroom and questioned at length about her father by law enforcement officials. The Family Legal Project of Nebraska and the Family Advocacy Movement are two of 70 experts and organizations that have filed amicus briefs in support in the case of Camreta v. Greene.
